Hi- I'm Victoria.... I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and now I call Georgia home.

I started painting in November 2023 when I took a virtual class with a crafty friend (Hi Andrea, I love you!).  We made little mushrooms & I was very bad - but I had so much fun painting along and laughing with strangers who wanted to sit and create together.
What a magical concept... I performed poorly but enjoyed myself??  Sourcery.

I was instantly hooked and started painting regularly.  In November 2024, I began taking group and private classes with Sanaz Dillard (@Asheqart).  
Watercolor painting became a way for me to process and express my emotions—grief, love, joy, and everything in between.

Painting has helped me manage perfectionism.    Even if it's just a quick and silly doodle, I love the process of creating something and hope to inspire others to do the same. 

It's not about being perfect - it's about exploring, playing, having fun and learning.  It's not just about what the colors do to blend and how they bleed on the paper.  It's about pushing yourself to be less precious.  Accept that progress is better than perfection.  To be excited from the joy it brings to make something.  To not compare yourself to others- in life and in art.     
..... okay rant over, I love watercolors and you get the point.
